Our Team

Blair Bigwood, Chief Executive Officer and UDP
Blair's career began in 1994 when he co-founded the Options Trading Department at GP Securities, focusing on introducing retail investors to strategies exclusive to the institutional space. Progress early on led to a career dedicated to creating structured portfolio solutions for individual clientele, focusing on actively managed income and hedging strategies using derivatives. Blair's enthusiasm for structured products was a major driver in designing instruments with customized exposures and bespoke risk-return profiles, such as the creation of Momentix's Life Settlement Limited Partnerships. Blair has held registered roles in advisory and management capacities with Canadian and U.S. firms, has a BA in Economics and holds the Chartered Investment Manager (CIM) designation.
